Well done Neils. I write about schools that try and control complexity through limitation and separation. They keep things the same. The difference between complex organisation (what schools need to be) and complicated (what schools create by trying to avoid the complexity they need) is important. A much needed book on change and no change!

Just starting your book, fascinating! FYI, the word manager goes back much further than FW Taylor; it comes from 'maneggiare', which applied mainly to the relationship between rider and horse (one of total control, literally via the reins of power). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFi7FmSa1v8&feature=youtu.be
